Hey, I'm Fred Siika

Professionally, I've had a diverse career that spans across multiple sectors, including IT, biotech, energy trading, and banking. My background is in Biochemistry, where I initially worked in the Life Science/Biotech industry, focusing on phase I-IV oncology clinical trials. This involved everything from developing oncology drugs to creating medical devices like biopsy assay machines.

I create educational content for developers, teaching them about web development, JavaScript and TypeScript, React and Next.js, and more. This comes in all forms: blog posts, videos, tweets, conference talks, and workshops. You can watch some of my favorites below.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring new advancements in technology, running marathons, producing music in Ableton, or playing pickup soccer with friends and family.
